At 8:00 a.m. on February 15, Yang Zaili, a doctor in the Department of Gastroenterology at the First People’s Hospital of Guizhou Province, arrived at the hospital on time to take over the shift. As usual, he inspected the key patients first, and after the ward rounds were handed over, he began to take charge.
"There is a patient who has hemorrhagic symptoms, and he will be transferred to your department immediately. Please be prepared for treatment." At 7 o’clock in the evening of Thirty Nights, Yang Zaili was explaining her condition to the patient’s family when the office phone suddenly rang and the outpatient called. There was a 70-year-old man who had hemorrhagic symptoms and suspected gastrointestinal bleeding.

大年初一凌晨三点，处理完最后一起案子，贵阳市乌当公安分局高新路派出所民警杨雁乔终于可以休息了。
从2月15日上午九点接班开始，巡逻、接警、出警，杨雁乔和同事一直在忙着。晚上九点，杨雁乔和同事正在派出所的值班室观看春节联欢晚会，突然接到一起报警，一家人吃年夜饭时发生纠纷，父子间大打出手。接警后，杨雁乔和同事迅速赶往该居民家处理纠纷。
12时10分，该纠纷刚处理完不一会儿，又接到一起报警，辖区一房东和房客之间因房租问题产生争执，出警回到派出所已是凌晨1点多。原以为可以休息了，不料又接到一起报警，有人酒后无证驾驶把辖区村民的墙壁撞坏了。

On the highway, there was a group of people who had to patrol the highway several times a day to deal with all kinds of emergency accidents on the road in a timely manner. The patrol cars with flashing police lights were like lights illuminating the way home safely for many vehicles. They were highway workers.
Feng Jian, deputy captain of the Kaili Road Administration Law Enforcement Brigade, is an ordinary grass-roots road administrator. The brigade is mainly responsible for the road traffic safety of K1670-K1722 in the Kaima section of the G60 Shanghai-Kunming Expressway.
Although Feng Jian was only 35 years old, this year he was on duty for the tenth consecutive year. In 2008, Guizhou suffered a once-in-a-century snow condensation disaster. Feng Jian and his colleagues worked day and night on the front line of anti-condensation protection, sprinkling salt and de-icing, traffic guidance, accident rescue… Working overtime for 40 consecutive days, sleeping on the team every day, never returning home for a day.
On January 26, 2018, a large area of Guizhou Province cooled down, causing the highway roads in many places to freeze. Due to the icy bridge deck, a large truck lost control and rushed out of the road, crossing the middle of the wave guardrail. Feng Jian and colleagues discovered the danger during inspection and immediately organized personnel to rescue it. From 7:00 pm on January 26, manual salt was sprinkled until 8:00 am the next day, until the truck was successfully escorted out of the highway. For three consecutive days, Feng Jian and colleagues rested intermittently for only 5 hours.
At 9:32 on February 15, 2018, the Carey Brigade inspected the G60 Kaima section of Shanghai-Kunming Expressway and found that a truck bearing of K1686 + 400 (uplink) was locked and the temperature was too high. The road administrator promptly took water to cool it down and contacted the high-speed emergency repair and emergency departments. Due to the timely discovery and handling of the road administration, there was no spontaneous combustion incident
On February 15, New Year’s Eve, Feng Jian was patrolling the highway as usual. A car broke down on the highway due to the smoke of the engine. The driver was emotional and stood near the road making a phone call, which was very dangerous. Feng Jian and his colleagues immediately stepped forward to dissuade, understand the situation, coordinate with the relevant departments to tow the car to the repair shop, and arrange for the vehicle to escort the driver to his home. It was not until after 1:00 pm that he returned to the team for lunch.
Sunrise and sunset, spring and autumn come. Whether it is the scorching sun in the sky, or the wind, frost, rain and snow, Feng Jian and his colleagues silently guard those high-speed vehicles. With their youth and sweat, they have paved a "smooth, safe, comfortable and beautiful" highway for passers-by. Their figures have turned into a beautiful landscape on the highway line.
