On the first day of school, the education department not only arranged a special ceremony to raise the national flag online, but also paid more attention to the characteristics of online teaching in the curriculum to increase interest and interactivity.

　　On the morning of September 1st, primary and middle school students in Gulou District of Nanjing participated in an online flag-raising ceremony at home by watching videos. After the flag-raising ceremony, every school had its first lesson. Nanjing Education Department requires all schools to prepare online teaching content for one month, and launch the curriculum schedule on a weekly basis. At the same time, considering students’ eyesight, primary school students in grade one and grade two are required to control each class for 20 minutes, 3-mdash; Grade 6 and middle school students have 30 minutes each class, and make full use of the advantages of online teaching to combine richness and interest.
