Because the drill rod is thin and easy to deform, if you don’t master the strength well when drilling, it is easy to exceed the tolerance.

"Our products have high wear resistance and density, and the cost is also high. If the operating drilling machine fails to meet the accuracy standard, it will be time-consuming, laborious and costly. " In order to save costs and master the accuracy of hand feeling, Zhang stopped trying to punch holes in eggs.

From the first touch, it was broken, and later, a drill bit with a speed of more than 2,000 revolutions per second was used to break the shell and drill holes to stop at the egg film. Zhang Xin stopped remembering how many days and nights he practiced and how many eggs he spent drilling. For a long time, the accuracy of the bore gauge has been a key project in the factory.
